Somonauk Bobcats (Somonauk, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Indian Creek Timberwolves (Shabbona, IL), 17-4 in a league challenge.

The Bobcats now sport a 7-12 record. They take the field next when they host Aurora Christian for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 6. Somonauk will face a Eagles squad coming off a 11-10 non-league win over Harvest Christian Academy (Elgin, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Indian Creek falls to 7-10 on the campaign. The Timberwolves travel to Rochelle (Rochelle, IL) to face the Hubs in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 3. The Hubs enter the challenge with a record of 4-12. Rochelle lost 26-0 in their recent league challenge against Sycamore (Sycamore, IL)
