Kansas High School Softball - Labette County bounces Parsons
May 2, 2024: Altamont, KS 67330 Labette County Grizzlies (Altamont, KS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Parsons Vikings (Parsons, KS), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Grizzlies now own a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they host Field Kindley for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 4. Labette County will face a Golden Tornado squad coming off a 12-0 non-league loss to Iola (Iola, KS). The Golden Tornado record now stands at 2-8.
With the loss, Parsons falls to 3-12 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Fort Scott (Fort Scott, KS) to face the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 3. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 13-4.
