The Glass Hilltoppers (Lynchburg, VA) baseball got by the host Amherst County Lancers (Amherst, VA), 3-2 in Friday's league challenge.

The Hilltoppers now own a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brookville for a Seminole challenge on Tuesday, May 6. Glass will clash with a Bees team coming off a 13-1 league win over Liberty (Bedford, VA). The Bees record now stands at 8-6.

With the defeat, Amherst County drops to 7-8 on the year. The Lancers travel to Buckingham (Buckingham, VA) to clash with the Knights in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 5.
