The Barstow Aztecs baseball team scored 15 runs and held the host Silverado Hawks to 7 in the Aztecs league win on Friday.

The Aztecs now hold a 7-12 record. They take the field next when they host Granite Hills for a Desert Sky test on Monday, May 5. Barstow will play a Cougars team coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Miller (Fontana, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 13-8.

With the defeat, Silverado drops to 10-10 on the year. The Hawks travel to Victor Valley (Victorville, CA) to play the Jackrabbits in a Desert Sky test on Monday, May 5. The Jackrabbits go into the test with a record of 7-14. Victor Valley lost 5-4 in their recent league test against Adelanto (Adelanto, CA)
