The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Cheney Tech Chargers (Manchester, CT) and the visiting East Windsor Panthers (East Windsor, CT), saw Cheney Tech's baseball team gain a win over East Windsor by a tally of 3-0.

The Chargers (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Vinal RVT (Middletown, CT). The Hawks enter the Connecticut Technical - West battle with a 4-13 record. In their last battle, Vinal RVT by Hale Ray (Moodus, CT), 24-3, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Panthers face the East Granby Crusaders (East Granby, CT) in a North Central Connecticut battle, on Tuesday, May 6. East Windsor will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Crusaders enter the battle with a 3-1 record after their 7-6 league win over Bolton (Bolton, CT).
