Crown Point Bulldogs (Crown Point, IN) followers left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Lowell Red Devils (Lowell, IN), 8-1 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Crown Point moves its record to 15-3 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Chesterton (Chesterton, IN) to battle the Trojans in a Duneland match on Tuesday, May 6. The Trojans come into the match with a record of 11-7. Chesterton lost 8-6 in their recent non-league match against Northridge (Middlebury, IN)

The Red Devils now possess a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Morgan Township for a non-league match on Saturday, May 3. Lowell will battle a Cherokees squad coming off a 18-0 league loss to Boone Grove (Valparaiso, IN). The Cherokees record now stands at 3-11.
