The Lowell Red Devils baseball squad (Lowell, IN), was overwhelmed 12-1 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting La Porte Slicers (La Porte, IN)

With the triumph, La Porte moves its record to 11-14 on the season. The Slicers host Portage (Portage, IN) to confront the Indians in a Duneland contest on Tuesday, May 20. The Indians come into the contest with a record of 10-11. Portage won 10-9 in their recent non-league contest against Illiana Christian (Dyer, IN)

The Red Devils now possess a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hobart for a Northwest Crossroads contest on Monday, May 19. Lowell will confront a Brickies squad coming off a 12-7 non-league win over Wheeler (Valparaiso, IN). The Brickies record now stands at 12-11.
