In Friday's league bout, the Northwest Grizzlies (Wichita, KS) baseball squad the visiting Heights Falcons (Wichita, KS), by a tally of 5-2.

Next up, the Grizzlies encounter the Goddard Lions (Goddard, KS) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, May 7. Northwest will attempt to upgrade on its 11-9 season record. The Lions enter the bout with a 6-15 record after their 9-2 league win over Andover (Andover, KS).
