May 2, 2025: Pomfret, MD 20675 Huntingtown Hurricanes (Huntingtown, MD) followers left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host McDonough Rams (Pomfret, MD), 10-0 in a league match.
With the triumph, Huntingtown moves its record to 14-3 on the season. The Hurricanes travel to La Plata (La Plata, MD) to battle the Warriors in a Southern Maryland match on Monday, May 5. The Warriors come into the match with a record of 12-6. La Plata won 17-0 in their recent non-league match against Great Mills (Great Mills, MD)
The Rams now possess a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thomas Stone for a Southern Maryland match on Tuesday, May 6. McDonough will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 17-0 league loss to Patuxent (Lusby, MD). The Cougars record now stands at 0-12.
