Salina Central Mustangs (Salina, KS) followers left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Newton Railroaders (Newton, KS), 8-5 in a league match.

With the triumph, Salina Central moves its record to 10-8 on the season. The Mustangs host Andover (Andover, KS) to battle the Trojans in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division II match on Tuesday, May 6. The Trojans come into the match with a record of 13-10. Andover lost 9-2 in their recent league match against Goddard (Goddard, KS)
