In Friday's league game, the host North Hagerstown Hubs baseball team scored a close 4-3 victory over the Smithsburg Leopards.

The Hubs (15-3) will now prepare for their game against Musselman (Inwood, WV). The Applemen enter the non-league game with a 12-13 record. In their last game, Musselman held off Hedgesville (Hedgesville, WV), 6-1, in a league game.
