Kentucky High School Softball - Western Hills edges Frankfort
May 2, 2025: Frankfort, KY 40601 The Western Hills Wolverines softball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Frankfort Panthers to 1 in the Wolverines league win on Friday.
The Wolverines now sport a 8-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodford County for a non-league battle on Monday, May 5. Western Hills will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Rowan County (Morehead, KY). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 13-9.
With the loss, Frankfort moves to 6-10 on the season. The Panthers host Great Crossing (Georgetown, KY) to confront the in a District 41 battle on Monday, May 5. The come into the battle with a record of 6-8.
