Prairie Central Hawks (Fairbury, IL) followers left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Fieldcrest Knights (Minonk, IL), 8-2 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Prairie Central moves its record to 9-9 on the season. The Hawks host Bloomington Central Catholic (Bloomington, IL) to battle the Saints in a Illini Prairie match on Monday, May 4. The Saints come into the match with a record of 7-17.

The Knights now possess a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fisher for a Heart of Illinois match on Thursday, May 7.
