Prairie Central Hawks (Fairbury, IL) boosters exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they saw their baseball team gain a win over the visiting Bloomington Central Catholic Saints (Bloomington, IL), 11-1 in a league battle.

The Hawks (10-9) will now prepare for their battle against Eureka (Eureka, IL). The Hornets enter the non-league battle with a 11-12 record. In their last battle, Eureka was overwhelmed by Roanoke-Benson/Lowpoint-Washburn (Roanoke, IL), 9-8, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Saints face the El Paso-Gridley Titans (El Paso, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, May 5. Bloomington Central Catholic will attempt to better on its 8-18 season record. The Titans go into the challenge with a 7-12 record after their 18-5 league loss to Fisher (Fisher, IL).
