In Saturday's league match, the visiting Central Catholic Irish softball team scored a tight 4-0 win over the Bishop Foley Ventures.

The Irish (14-5) will now prepare for their match against St. Catherine of Siena Academy (Wixom, MI). The Athletes come into the Catholic AA match with a 2-8 record. In their last match, St. Catherine of Siena Academy was routed by Lumen Christi Catholic (Jackson, MI), 17-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Ventures battle the Shrine Catholic Knights (Royal Oak, MI) in a non-league match, on Monday, May 4. Bishop Foley will attempt to better on its 12-5 season record.
