The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) and the visiting Hanover Central Wildcats (Cedar Lake, IN), saw Lake Central's softball squad achieve victory over Hanover Central by a count of 11-0.

The Indians now sport a 21-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Merrillville for a non-league match on Tuesday, May 24. Lake Central will face a Pirates squad coming off a 21-0 league loss to Portage (Portage, IN). The Pirates record now stands at 0-19.

With the loss, Hanover Central falls to 13-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to River Forest (Hobart, IN) to face the Ingots in a non-league match on Tuesday, May 24.
