Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Lowell Red Devils (Lowell, IN) and the host Hanover Central Wildcats (Cedar Lake, IN), witnessed Lowell's softball squad tip Hanover Central by a count of 5-3.

The Red Devils now sport a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Hobart for a Northwest Crossroads match on Thursday, April 21. Lowell will face a Brickies squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Hebron (Hebron, IN). The Brickies record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, Hanover Central moves to 5-2 on the season. The Wildcats host Hammond Bishop Noll (Hammond, IN) to face the Warriors in a Greater South Shore match on Monday, April 25. The Warriors go into the match with a record of 4-5. Hammond Bishop Noll lost 6-0 in their recent non-league match against South Central (Union Mills, IN)
