Vermont High School Softball - Mill River bounces Long Trail
May 20, 2023: Dorset, VT 05251 The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Mill River Minutemen (North Clarendon, VT) and the host Long Trail (Dorset, VT), saw Mill River's softball squad nip Long Trail by a count of 12-8.
The Minutemen now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Fair Haven for a Marble Valley - B match on Monday, May 22.
With the loss, Long Trail falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The host Twin Valley (Wilmington, VT) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Monday, May 22. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 0-0.
