May 20, 2024: Indianola, IA 50125 Indianola Indians (Indianola, IA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Carlisle Wildcats (Carlisle, IA), 12-10 in a non-league challenge.
The Indians now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Des Moines East for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 22.
With the loss, Carlisle falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Ballard (Huxley, IA) to face the Bombers in a Raccoon River challenge on Wednesday, May 22.
