The Wallkill Panthers (Wallkill, NY) baseball trounced the visiting Valley Central Vikings (Montgomery, NY), 17-7 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 9-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kingston for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 21. Wallkill will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 5-4 league loss to Newburgh Free Academy (Newburgh, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 2-15.

With the defeat, Valley Central drops to 9-9 on the year. The Vikings travel to Washingtonville (Washingtonville, NY) to clash with the Wizards in a Section 9 Orange County II challenge on Wednesday, May 21. The Wizards go into the challenge with a record of 6-9. Washingtonville lost 2-1 in their recent league challenge against Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY)
