In Tuesday's league test, the Old Town Coyotes (Old Town, ME) softball squad overwhelmed the host John Bapst Memorial Crusaders (Bangor, ME), by a count of 23-2.

Next, the Coyotes meet the Ellsworth Eagles (Ellsworth, ME) in a Class B North test, on Thursday, May 22. Old Town will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 5-5 record after their 13-12 league win over Presque Isle (Presque Isle, ME).

The Crusaders (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Mount Desert Island (Mount Desert, ME). The Trojans go into the Class B North test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Mount Desert Island was routed by Bucksport (Bucksport, ME), 2-0, in a non-league test.
