In Wednesday's non-league bout, the Cascade Cadets (Clayton, IN) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Owen Valley Patriots (Spencer, IN), by a tally of 12-2.

Next up, the Cadets encounter the South Putnam Eagles (Greencastle, IN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, May 23. Cascade will attempt to upgrade on its 16-3 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 5-11 record after their 12-6 non-league loss to Parke Heritage (Rockville, IN).

The Patriots (9-6) will now prepare for their bout against Speedway (Speedway, IN). The Sparkplugs enter the non-league bout with a 6-15 record. In their last bout, Speedway was overwhelmed by Indianapolis Lutheran (Indianapolis, IN), 9-4, in a league bout.
