Kalamazoo Central Maroon Giants (Kalamazoo, MI) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Dowagiac Chieftains (Dowagiac, MI), 7-3 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Kalamazoo Central advances its record to 19-13 on the season. The Maroon Giants host Paw Paw (Paw Paw, MI) to battle the Redskins in a non-league match on Tuesday, May 26. The Redskins come into the match with a record of 15-7. Paw Paw won 6-5 in their recent non-league match against South Haven (South Haven, MI)

The Chieftains now have a 5-25 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakeshore for a non-league match on Saturday, May 30.
