Montpelier Locomotives (Montpelier, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting North Central Eagles (Pioneer, OH), 6-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, Montpelier upgrades its record to 12-7 on the season. The Locomotives host Hilltop (West Unity, OH) to battle the Cadets in a non-league test on Friday, May 24. The Cadets come into the test with a record of 14-9. Hilltop won 7-2 in their recent non-league test against Edgerton (Edgerton, OH)

With the defeat, North Central falls to 12-9 on the season.
