Maine High School Softball - Forest Hills nudges Carrabec
May 22, 2024: Jackman, ME 04945 Forest Hills Tigers (Jackman, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Carrabec Cobras (North Anson, ME), 19-18 in a league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they host Greenville for a Class D South challenge on Thursday, May 23. Forest Hills will battle a Lakers squad coming off a 16-2 non-league win over Schenck (East Millinocket, ME). The Lakers record now stands at 5-5.
With the loss, Carrabec falls to 9-4 on the campaign. The Cobras host Valley (Bingham, ME) to battle the Cavaliers in a Class D South challenge on Friday, May 24. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a record of 7-6. Valley lost 6-3 in their recent league match against St. Dominic (Lewiston, ME)
