May 22, 2024: Walled Lake, MI 48390 Walled Lake Western Warriors (Walled Lake, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Walled Lake Central Vikings (Walled Lake, MI), 15-4 in a league challenge.
The Warriors now own a 9-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Milford for a Lakes Valley challenge on Wednesday, May 22. Walled Lake Western will battle a Mavericks squad coming off a 10-3 non-league loss to Clinton (Clinton, MI). The Mavericks record now stands at 7-15.
With the loss, Walled Lake Central falls to 1-12 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Seaholm/Groves (Birmingham, MI) to battle the Maples in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 28. The Maples enter the challenge with a record of 2-5.
