Illinois High School Softball - Hersey topped by Barrington
May 22, 2025: Arlington Heights, IL 60004 Barrington Fillies/Broncos (Barrington, IL) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Hersey Huskies (Arlington Heights, IL), 13-5 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Barrington upgrades its record to 29-2 on the year. The Fillies/Broncos travel to Lockport (Lockport, IL) to play the Porters in a non-league game on Saturday, May 24. The Porters enter the game with a record of 25-9. Lockport won 7-5 in their recent league game against Andrew (Tinley Park, IL)
The Huskies now own a 17-9 record. They play next when they host Loyola Academy for a non-league game on Friday, May 23. Hersey will play a Ramblers squad coming off a 14-0 non-league win over New Trier (Winnetka, IL). The Ramblers record now stands at 13-15.
