In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Pennfield Panthers softball team scored a tight 8-7 win over the Lawton Blue Devils.

The Panthers (5-12) will now prepare for their match against Union City (Union City, MI). The Chargers come into the non-league match with a 8-8 record.

In their next game, the Blue Devils battle the Decatur Raiders (Decatur, MI) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, May 27. Lawton will attempt to better on its 10-13 season record.
