Wisconsin High School Softball - Northwestern nudges Bloomer
May 23, 2024: Maple, WI 54854 Northwestern Tigers (Maple, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Bloomer Blackhawks (Bloomer, WI), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 20-6 record. They take the field next when they host Spooner for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 28. Northwestern will face a Rails squad coming off a 6-1 non-league win over St. Croix Falls (St. Croix Falls, WI). The Rails record now stands at 17-6.
With the loss, Bloomer falls to 12-14 on the campaign.
