May 23, 2025: Orange City, IA 51041 The Sioux City East Black Raiders (Sioux City, IA) baseball trounced the host Unity Christian Knights (Orange City, IA), 13-5 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Black Raiders now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Jefferson for a Missouri River challenge on Tuesday, May 27. Sioux City East will clash with a Yellowjackets team coming off a 8-4 league loss to Bishop Heelan Catholic (Sioux City, IA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 0-5.
With the defeat, Unity Christian drops to 1-2 on the year. The Knights host Sheldon (Sheldon, IA) to clash with the Orabs in a Siouxland challenge on Tuesday, May 27. The Orabs go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
