With the triumph, Washington improves its record to 16-2 on the year. The Warriors host Watertown (Watertown, SD) to face the Arrows in a Class AA contest on Tuesday, May 27. The Arrows enter the contest with a record of 4-13. Watertown lost 10-0 in their recent league contest against Lincoln (Sioux Falls, SD)
The Raiders now hold a 15-3 record. They play next when they host Roosevelt for a Class AA contest on Friday, May 23. Stevens will face a Rough Riders squad coming off a 9-4 league win over Sturgis Brown (Sturgis, SD). The Rough Riders record now stands at 9-12.
