May 24, 2023: Remus, MI 49340 Chippewa Hills Warriors (Remus, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Lakeview Wildcats (Lakeview, MI), 14-9 in a non-league challenge.
The Warriors now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Clare for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 25. Chippewa Hills will battle a Pioneers squad coming off a 5-4 league win over Gladwin (Gladwin, MI). The Pioneers record now stands at 22-10.
With the loss, Lakeview falls to 7-12 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Reed City (Reed City, MI) to battle the Coyotes in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 30. The Coyotes enter the challenge with a record of 5-11.
