May 24, 2024: Wells, ME 04090 In Friday's league contest, the Wells Warriors (Wells, ME) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Yarmouth Clippers (Yarmouth, ME), by a margin of 14-6.
With the triumph, Wells moves its record to 9-6 on the year.
In their next game, the Clippers play the York Wildcats (York, ME) in a Class B South contest, on Monday, May 27. Yarmouth will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Wildcats come into the contest with a 14-0 record after their 9-4 league win over Lake Region (Naples, ME).
