May 24, 2025: Rutland, VT 05701 In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Champlain Valley Union Redhawks baseball team scored a close 8-3 win over the Rutland Raiders.
The Redhawks (5-4) will now prepare for their game against South Burlington (South Burlington, VT). The Wolves go into the non-league game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, South Burlington nudged St. Johnsbury Academy (St. Johnsbury, VT), 5-4, in a non-league game.
Next, the Raiders play the Essex Hornets (Essex Junction, VT) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, May 27. Rutland will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Hornets go into the game with a 1-2 record after their 12-1 league win over Mt. Mansfield (Jericho, VT).
