South Dakota High School Softball - Sioux Valley edges Beresford
May 24, 2025: Beresford, SD 57004 The Sioux Valley Cossacks softball team scored 2 runs and held the host Beresford Watchdogs to 0 in the Cossacks league win on Saturday.
The Cossacks now sport a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lennox for a Class A battle on Tuesday, May 27. Sioux Valley will confront a Orioles team coming off a 8-6 league loss to Madison (Madison, SD). The Orioles record now stands at 3-17.
With the loss, Beresford moves to 14-11 on the season. The Watchdogs host Vermillion (Vermillion, SD) to confront the Tanagers in a Class A battle on Tuesday, May 27. The Tanagers come into the battle with a record of 6-10. Vermillion lost 5-4 in their recent league battle against Dakota Valley (North Sioux City, SD)
