In Thursday's non-league challenge, the Lancaster Golden Gales (Lancaster, OH) baseball squad edged the host Grove City Greyhounds (Grove City, OH), by a final score of 2-1.

With the win, Lancaster upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Golden Gales travel to New Albany (New Albany, OH) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, June 3. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 24-5. New Albany won 5-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Olentangy Liberty (Powell, OH)
