Maine High School Baseball - John Bapst Memorial held off by Waterville
May 27, 2025: Waterville, ME 04901 Waterville Panthers (Waterville, ME) followers left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting John Bapst Memorial Crusaders (Bangor, ME), 6-4 in a league match.
With the triumph, Waterville moves its record to 5-6 on the season. The Panthers travel to Maine Central Institute (Pittsfield, ME) to battle the Huskies in a non-league match on Tuesday, June 3. The Huskies come into the match with a record of 2-9.
The Crusaders now possess a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belfast for a Class B North match on Thursday, May 29. John Bapst Memorial will battle a Lions squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Erskine Academy (South China, ME). The Lions record now stands at 9-4.
