Virginia High School Baseball - Midlothian holds off Godwin
May 28, 2022: Richmond, VA 23233 Midlothian Trojans (Midlothian, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Godwin Eagles (Richmond, VA), 5-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Midlothian upgrades its record to 12-8 on the season. The Trojans travel to Freeman (Richmond, VA) to battle the Mavericks in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 31. The Mavericks come into the test with a record of 19-3. Freeman won 11-0 in their recent non-league test against Highland Springs (Highland Springs, VA)
With the defeat, Godwin falls to 10-7 on the season.
