Wisconsin High School Baseball - Shiocton defeats Amherst
May 28, 2024: Shiocton, WI 54170 Shiocton Chiefs (Shiocton, WI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Amherst Falcons (Amherst, WI), 8-2 in a league test.
With the win, Shiocton upgrades its record to 18-3 on the season. The Chiefs host St. Mary Catholic (Neenah, WI) to battle the Zephyrs in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 29. The Zephyrs come into the test with a record of 16-7. St. Mary Catholic won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Kewaunee (Kewaunee, WI)
With the defeat, Amherst falls to 14-12 on the season.
