Maine High School Softball - Ellsworth bounces John Bapst Memorial
May 28, 2024: Bangor, ME 04401 The Ellsworth Eagles routed the host John Bapst Memorial Crusaders softball squad by a count of 19-2 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Eagles (12-3) will now prepare for their battle against Mount Desert Island (Mount Desert, ME). The Trojans go into the Class B North battle with a 6-8 record. In their last battle, Mount Desert Island was routed by Old Town (Old Town, ME), 6-2, in a league battle.
The Crusaders now sport a 5-10 record. They play next when they host Old Town for a Class B North battle on Wednesday, May 29. John Bapst Memorial will meet a Coyotes squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Orono (Orono, ME). The Coyotes record now stands at 11-4.
