Iowa High School Baseball - Saydel defeats West Marshall
May 28, 2025: Des Moines, IA 50313 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Saydel Eagles (Des Moines, IA) and the visiting West Marshall Trojans (State Center, IA), saw Saydel's baseball team beat West Marshall by a margin of 8-0.
The Eagles (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Perry (Perry, IA). The Bluejays enter the non-league battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Perry was overwhelmed by West Central Valley (Stuart, IA), 10-5, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Trojans face the Des Moines Christian Lions (Des Moines, IA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 30. West Marshall will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Lions enter the battle with a 2-2 record after their 12-7 league win over Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center (Guthrie Center, IA).
