The Centerville Elks softball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Mason Comets to 5 in the Elks non-league win on Wednesday.

The Elks now sport a 16-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fairmont for a non-league battle on Friday, May 30. Centerville will confront a Firebirds team coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Oak Hills (Cincinnati, OH). The Firebirds record now stands at 16-8.

With the loss, Mason moves to 10-4 on the season.
