May 28, 2025: Des Moines, IA 50313 The West Marshall Trojans triumphed over the host Saydel Eagles softball squad by a score of 11-3 in Wednesday's league game.
With the triumph, West Marshall improves its record to 1-2 on the year. The Trojans travel to Gilbert (Gilbert, IA) to face the Tigers in a non-league game on Thursday, May 29. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 0-0.
The Eagles now hold a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Perry for a Heart of Iowa game on Friday, May 30. Saydel will face a Bluejays squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Greene County (Jefferson, IA). The Bluejays record now stands at 0-1.
