Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA) followers left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Nelson County Governors (Lovingston, VA), 5-2 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Floyd County moves its record to 15-11 on the season. The Buffaloes travel to Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA) to battle the Raiders in a non-league match on Tuesday, June 3. The Raiders come into the match with a record of 16-6. Appomattox County won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against James River (Buchanan, VA)

The Governors now possess a 8-10 record.
