May 29, 2025: Lone Tree, IA 52755 The Lone Tree Lions triumphed over the visiting Pekin Panthers softball squad by a count of 11-1 in Thursday's league challenge.
Next, the Lions meet the Wapello Indians (Wapello, IA) in a SE IA Super - North challenge, on Friday, May 30. Lone Tree will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 10-3 league win over Hillcrest Academy (Kalona, IA).
The Panthers (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Twin Cedars (Bussey, IA). The Sabers enter the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Twin Cedars overcame Mormon Trail (Garden Grove, IA), 33-5, in a non-league challenge.
