Blacksburg Bruins (Blacksburg, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Salem Spartans (Salem, VA), 7-4 in a league test.

With the win, Blacksburg upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Bruins travel to Pulaski County (Dublin, VA) to battle the Cougars in a River Ridge test on Thursday, May 5. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 9-5. Pulaski County won 15-8 in their recent non-league test against Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA)

With the defeat, Salem falls to 8-5 on the season.
