Washington High School Baseball - River View holds off Columbia
May 3, 2022: Burbank, WA 99323 Spectators at Tuesday's league battle between the River View Panthers (Kennewick, WA) and the host Columbia Coyotes (Burbank, WA), saw River View's baseball squad knock off Columbia by a count of 10-6.
Coming up next, the Panthers play the Walla Walla Valley Academy Knights (College Place, WA) in a 2B EWAC East battle, on Friday, May 6. River View will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record. The Knights enter the battle with a 1-9 record after their 14-0 league loss to Tri-Cities Prep (Pasco, WA).
The Coyotes now possess a 2-9 record. They take the field next when they host Tri-Cities Prep for a 2B EWAC East battle on Friday, May 6. Columbia will play a Jaguars squad coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Brewster (Brewster, WA). The Jaguars record now stands at 13-4.
