Spectators at Tuesday's league battle between the Halifax Academy Vikings (Roanoke Rapids, NC) and the host Faith Christian Patriots (Rocky Mount, NC), saw Halifax Academy's baseball squad knock off Faith Christian by a count of 7-3.

Coming up next, the Vikings play the Kerr-Vance Academy Spartans (Henderson, NC) in a NCISAA Carolina Independent 2A/1A battle, on Thursday, May 5. Halifax Academy will attempt to move on its 9-8 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 10-4 record after their 7-2 non-league win over Thales Academy Rolesville (Rolesville, NC).

The Patriots now possess a 8-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rocky Mount Academy for a NCISAA Carolina Independent 2A/1A battle on Friday, May 6.
