May 3, 2022: Lexington, VA 24450 The Rockbridge County Wildcats (Lexington, VA) lacrosse triumphed over the visiting Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA), 23-2 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
With the win, Rockbridge County upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Wildcats host Salem (Salem, VA) to battle the Spartans in a non-league outing on Thursday, May 5. The Spartans go into the outing with a record of 5-2. Salem won 17-3 in their recent league outing against Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA)
With the defeat, Monticello drops to 2-5 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA) to battle the Flying Flucos in a Jefferson outing on Wednesday, May 4. The Flying Flucos go into the outing with a record of 4-5. Fluvanna County won 14-5 in their recent non-league outing against Goochland (Goochland, VA)
