Kansas High School Softball - Bishop Ward gets by Atchison
May 3, 2022: Kansas City, KS 66102 The Bishop Ward Cyclones got by the visiting Atchison Phoenix softball squad by a count of 6-5 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Cyclones (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Leavenworth (Leavenworth, KS). The PIONEERS go into the non-league battle with a 9-8 record. In their last battle, Leavenworth was edged by De Soto (De Soto, KS), 13-2, in a non-league battle.
The Phoenix now sport a 8-8 record. They take the field next when they host Hiawatha for a non-league outing on Thursday, May 5. Atchison will encounter a Red Hawks team coming off a 14-10 non-league loss to Troy (Troy, KS). The Red Hawks record now stands at 1-10.
